Get ID3D11Texture/ID3D10Texture or GLuint of surface without copying the whole thing

For context, I'm looking to pass Awesomium's Off-Canvas output to this efficiently to use it for building overlays.

If I recall, last time I tried this (which was a while back and I've lost the project since then) it was quite a job to do, as I ended up copying the entire texture into a new one with a re-implemented Surface and then updating it.

Ideally, I'd like to simply grab the pointer to the ID3D11/10/etc Texture and pass that straight to SteamVR, no questions asked, no manipulation.

Is this possible to do?
